Day 2: Keylong – Bharatpur
Continue the drive from Keylong to Bharatpur along the Leh-Manali Highway, crossing Baralacha La Pass (16,500 ft). En route, visit serene Deepak Tal and Suraj Tal lakes. Reach Bharatpur tent colony surrounded by barren, rugged Himalayan peaks. Acclimatize and rest overnight in fixed tents.
Day 3: Acclimatization at Bharatpur
Acclimatization day at Bharatpur. Take short acclimatization walks to nearby ridges and snowfields, adjusting to the high-altitude desert environment. The day also includes equipment checks and preparation for higher camps. Spend the evening enjoying stunning views of cold desert valleys and snow-covered peaks.
Day 4: Bharatpur – Yunam Base Camp
Trek from Bharatpur to Yunam Base Camp at 16,500 ft. The trail crosses rocky moraines, snow patches, and barren slopes. Though moderately challenging, the trail offers surreal views of trans-Himalayan landscapes. Settle into base camp tents surrounded by towering peaks and glacial ridgelines.
Day 5: Acclimatization & Snow Craft
