An Unforgettable Short Excursion in Manali
We begin our day with a short drive from Manali to the trailhead near Nasogi village. The hike starts through thick cedar and deodar forests alive with birdsong and the scent of pine. As we gain height, apple orchards and grazing meadows open up, offering panoramic views of Manali town and the surrounding peaks of Hampta and Deo Tibba. At the Mangankot ridge top, soak in the 360° vistas of the Beas Valley and snow-capped ranges. After a packed lunch amidst the open meadows, we descend via the same trail, returning to Manali by late afternoon.
