Journey From Green Valleys to Arid Landscapes
Day 1: Manali – Jobra – Chika
Drive from Manali to Jobra (20 km) and start trekking towards Chika. The trail passes through thick pine, maple, and birch forests, gradually opening to meadows lined with wildflowers. Camp at Chika beside a gushing stream, with clear mountain views setting the tone for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Chika – Balu Ka Ghera
Trek from Chika to Balu Ka Ghera, a high-altitude meadow surrounded by snow-clad peaks. Cross rocky patches and streams along the way, as the valley narrows and reveals stunning views of the Dhauladhar range. Set up camp here, where you’ll sleep under a sky strewn with countless stars.
Day 3: Balu Ka Ghera – Hampta Pass – Siagoru
Day 4: Siagoru – Chatru – Manali
