A Journey Tracing the River's Origins
Day 1: Manali – Dhundi – Lohali
Drive from Manali to Dhundi via Solang Valley (12 km). Start your trek through enchanting pine forests and meadows dotted with wildflowers. The trail follows the Beas River, offering clear views of Hanuman Tibba and Friendship Peak. Reach Bakarthach, a vast alpine grazing ground, to camp overnight under starlit skies.
Day 2: Lohali – Beas Kund – Lohali
Begin an early morning trek from Bakarthach to Beas Kund, the sacred glacial lake believed to be Sage Vyas’s meditation site. The trail winds through moraines and snow patches, gradually revealing stunning mountain vistas. Spend time at the lake, then retrace your path to Bakarthach for another serene night.
Day 3: Lohali – Dhundi – Manali
