    TOUR ITINERARY

    A Journey through the Remote Himalayas

    Day 1: Manali – Lama Dugh
    Drive from Manali to Lama Dugh. Trek through dense pine forests and open meadows. The trail climbs steadily, offering views of the Kullu Valley below. Reach Lama Dugh, a serene alpine clearing perfect for an overnight stay.
    Ascend from Lama Dugh to Riyali Thach. Cross dense oak forests and high meadows with panoramic views of Deo Tibba and Hanuman Tibba. Camp overnight in the lush open pastures of Riyali Thach.
    Trek to Kalihani Base, gaining altitude as the landscape turns rocky and barren. Cross streams and moraines, with views of glaciers and snowfields. Set up camp at the base of Kalihani Pass, preparing for the pass crossing.
    Cross Kalihani Pass (15,500 ft). The climb is steep and challenging, but rewards with sweeping Himalayan views. Descend to Devi Ki Marhi campsite, passing glacial fields and rugged terrain. Overnight in tents.
    Trek to Dal Marhi, crossing streams and lush alpine pastures. The trail offers occasional wildlife sightings and magnificent valley views. Camp overnight in the serene meadows of Dal Marhi.
    Trek from Dal Marhi to Bara Bhangal village, one of Himachal’s most isolated settlements. Descend through dense forest and cross wooden bridges. Explore the remote village and interact with the semi-nomadic Gaddi tribe. Camp overnight near the village.
    Rest and exploration day in Bara Bhangal. Stroll through traditional wooden homes, visit ancient temples, and learn about the unique culture of this remote Himalayan community.

    Begin the return trek towards Thamser Pass base, ascending steadily through meadows and river crossings. Camp at the base of Thamser Pass under towering cliffs and starry skies.

    Cross Thamser Pass (15,750 ft), a challenging ascent over scree and snow. Marvel at incredible Himalayan views from the top before descending to Panhartu meadows for an overnight stay.
    Trek to Rajgundha village, a charming Himachali settlement surrounded by forests and apple orchards. The trail passes through dense woods and streams. Camp overnight in Rajgundha.
    Trek to Billing, known as India’s paragliding capital. The trail is gentle and scenic, passing through rhododendron forests and meadows. Celebrate the completion of your long expedition here. Camp or stay in guesthouses.
    Drive from Billing to Manali via Bir and Mandi. Enjoy the lush mid-hill scenery en route. Arrive in Manali by evening, concluding your thrilling and remote trans-Himalayan adventure.
